Lawn Edging Panels VidaXL 10 pcs 25x103 cm Flexible Corten Steel
vidaXL Lawn Edging Panels set includes 10 flexible Corten steel panels, each measuring 25 x 103 cm, designed to form tidy borders between lawns, flowerbeds and paths. The panels are made of weathering steel that develops a protective rust-like patina over time, reducing the need for painting and offering a galvanized look suitable for modern and rustic garden styles. Their flexibility allows forming straight lines as well as smooth curves to match landscape designs.
The panels are constructed from Corten steel that weathers to form a protective surface, improving corrosion resistance without additional coatings. Each panel is slim and flexible, which permits easy shaping into curved or linear edging. Supplied as a set of 10 matching pieces, the product provides consistent appearance and repeatable installation across larger border runs. The size of each panel balances low visual impact with sufficient height to separate soil, mulch and turf.
These panels are intended as decorative and functional lawn edging rather than heavy-duty retaining walls. They are relatively thin and flexible; they will not support significant lateral soil pressure or serve as structural retaining elements for high beds. If a painted or stainless finish is required, Corten steel's natural patina may not meet that aesthetic.
Plan the border line and mark it on the ground. For straight runs, align panels edge to edge; for curves, gently bend each panel to the required radius before placing. Insert the lower edge into a shallow trench so that the panels sit firmly and the top edge remains visible to separate surfaces. Backfill and compact soil or gravel on the planted side to hold panels in position. For longer borders, overlap or butt panels as needed and ensure consistent alignment along the run. Regularly check the position after winter thaw or heavy rain and re-secure if necessary.
For best results, install panels when the ground is workable (not frozen). When shaping curves, make gradual bends to avoid kinking. If a uniform rust patina is desired, allow panels to weather naturally in place; to speed the process, moistening the surface periodically in the first weeks can encourage even patination. Use appropriate gloves and eye protection during handling to avoid sharp edges.
