Description

The Vision TC3-AMP is a compact 2.0-channel Class D audio amplifier designed to fit into a Techconnect module space while delivering 2 x 25 W RMS into 8 Ω. Its low-impedance digital amplifier chip provides efficient operation with low heat generation. The unit includes front and rear input options, removable phoenix connectors, IR receivers on front and rear, a tactile control dial with power and input functions, a supplied remote control, speaker and short input cables, and a single-gang backbox and surround for integrated Techconnect installation.

Advantages

The Class D design keeps power consumption low when idle and reduces the need for a large heatsink. A front-panel mini-jack duplicates Input 1 for convenient temporary connection, while rear phoenix connectors allow secure wiring and easy removal. The amplifier can drive 4 Ω loads so it can power up to four 8 Ω speakers or two 4 Ω speakers. Preset memory can recall the last settings or a specified preset on power-up, which is useful for hospitality installations. Wall mounting in the Techconnect module reduces visibility and theft risk.

How to use

Install the TC3-AMP into a Techconnect single-gang backbox or combine in a double-gang surround with other modules. Wire inputs to the rear phoenix connectors or use the front mini-jack for a temporary connection; the front input is half-normalled and will disconnect the rear input when used. Connect speakers to the amplifier outputs, observing impedance limits. Use the tactile dial: long press to power on/off and short press to change input. The included remote and IR receivers on both front and rear allow remote operation and integration with control systems.

Usage recommendations

For stable performance, place the module in an appropriate Techconnect backbox, ensure wiring is secure with the removable phoenix connectors, and avoid exceeding recommended speaker impedance. Use the preset memory feature to set a default input and level in guest rooms or public spaces.
