Wall-mounted Extractor Whirlpool AKR 65F LM K, Aluminium Filter, Noise Level: N/A
The Whirlpool AKR 65F LM K is a wall-mounted extractor hood designed for domestic kitchens. It offers a maximum extraction capacity of 375 m³/h and supports both ducted and recirculating configurations. The unit uses an aluminium grease filter and is finished in black. Energy-related ratings include an energy efficiency class D, fluid dynamic efficiency class E and grease filtering efficiency class E, with an annual energy consumption of 73 kWh. The extractor is equipped with two LED bulbs (2 W each) and has a connected load of 210 W. The exhaust connection diameter is 150 mm and the exhaust outlet is located on the top.
The Whirlpool AKR 65F LM K combines a compact wall-mounted design with a maximum extraction power of 375 m³/h suitable for typical household kitchens. The aluminium grease filter offers washable protection against grease deposits while enabling recirculating installation if external ducting is not available. Integrated LED lighting provides illumination with low power consumption. Energy and efficiency classes give a clear indication of expected operational performance and running costs.
Install the extractor on a suitable wall surface following local building codes and the manufacturer’s mounting instructions. For ducted operation, connect the 150 mm exhaust duct to the top outlet and route it outdoors; for recirculating operation, fit the aluminium grease filter and, where required, an additional charcoal filter according to manufacturer guidance. Switch the hood on before starting to cook to establish airflow and select the appropriate fan speed for the level of cooking fumes. Use the integrated LED lights to illuminate the cooking area as needed. Replace or clean the aluminium grease filter regularly to maintain extraction performance and reduce fire risk.
Clean the aluminium grease filter at regular intervals—typically every 1–3 months depending on cooking frequency—by removing it and washing with warm soapy water or in a dishwasher if permitted. For optimal performance, run the hood for a few minutes after cooking to clear remaining odors and moisture. If using recirculation mode, consider adding a charcoal filter as recommended by the manufacturer and replace it at intervals specified in the product manual.
