Cable boot WKK 5431212 Multicolour Copper Polypropylene
The WKK 5431212 assortment box contains 900 insulated bootlace ferrules with polypropylene sleeves and copper cores. Each ferrule is manufactured to meet the DIN 46228/4 standard and is intended to ensure reliable electrical contact and neat termination of stranded copper conductors. The multicolour sleeves help with identification and cable organization in installations.
These bootlace ferrules combine a copper conductor for good electrical conductivity with a polypropylene insulation sleeve for mechanical protection and color identification. Supplied in a bulk assortment of 900 pieces, they simplify stocking and reduce picking time for technicians. Conformance to DIN 46228/4 ensures dimensional consistency and reliable performance when crimped to stranded copper wires.
Select the ferrule size appropriate for the stranded copper conductor, strip the conductor to the required length, insert the conductor fully into the ferrule barrel and crimp using a suitable ferrule crimping tool. Verify that the crimp is secure and that the insulation sleeve remains intact to provide strain relief and identification. Use the multicolour sleeves to mark different circuits or phases as needed.
Use proper insulated crimping tools and the correct ferrule size for the conductor cross-section to ensure a reliable electrical connection; avoid reusing ferrules after crimping.
