Network Cable ROLINE FTP Patch Cord Cat.5e RJ-45 3m Red
ROLINE FTP Patch Cord Cat.5e RJ-45 3m Red is a shielded network patch cable designed for reliable Ethernet connections between devices. The cable has RJ-45 connectors on both ends, a 4-pair stranded copper conductor and full shielding with aluminium-clad polyester foil to reduce interference. It is 3 meters long and uses Cat5e wiring with 1:1 contact assignment according to the EIA/TIA 568 standard.
The FTP design (full shielding) improves resistance to electromagnetic interference compared with unshielded cables. Gold-plated contacts ensure stable signal transfer and corrosion resistance. The molded kink protection increases durability at the connector ends while the flexible construction allows routing in narrow bends. The red jacket provides clear visual identification in structured cabling.
Insert RJ-45 connectors into the device ports until they click to establish a secure connection. Use the cable to link network endpoints such as computers, switches, routers or patch panels. Route the cable avoiding excessive tension or tight kinks; the molded strain relief reduces stress but gentle handling extends service life.
For optimal performance, keep cable runs within recommended Cat5e distances for the intended application and avoid running shielded cables in parallel with high-voltage power lines. Terminate and connect to equipment that supports shielded cabling to maintain the shielding continuity.
