The Yato YT-849382 chainsaw bar is a replacement guide bar designed for YATO-brand chainsaws, supplied as a single unit made from durable manganese steel. It is engineered to accommodate a 14-inch chain with 52 drive links and a 3/8" pitch, and it integrates with standard U-type mounts. The construction emphasizes abrasion and heat resistance to provide longer service life for the guide bar and the cutting system as a whole.
The bar is manufactured from 65Mn manganese steel to enhance resistance to wear and overheating, which helps extend operational longevity. An integrated automatic chain lubrication system reduces friction and improves cooling of the chain and bar during operation. Compatibility with common chain types and a robust mount design make the bar suitable for both occasional home use and more demanding tasks.
Install the Yato YT-849382 chainsaw bar following the chainsaw manufacturer's instructions for bar and chain replacement: remove the side cover, relieve chain tension, fit the bar onto the mount, position the chain on the bar sprocket and guide groove, realign the chain on the drive sprocket, adjust tension to the recommended level, and secure the side cover. Before operation, fill and check the chainsaw's bar oil reservoir to ensure the automatic lubrication system supplies adequate oil to the chain and bar.
Use chains with the matching 3/8" pitch and 52 drive links; periodically check chain tension and bar lubrication, inspect for wear or damage, and follow standard safety practices when cutting, including wearing protective equipment and avoiding kickback-prone cutting techniques.
