ZVK saCon EasyLan PushPull Cat.6 S/FTP DualBoot Patch Cable RJ-45 RJ-45 2m Gray

The ZVK saCon EasyLan PushPull Cat.6 S/FTP DualBoot Patch Cable is engineered for structured network cabling in professional environments. Measuring 2 meters in length, this gray patch cable provides reliable connectivity for standard network links. Equipped with RJ-45 connectors on both ends and robust S/FTP shielding, it is designed to minimize electromagnetic interference and support stable data transmissions in Gigabit networks.

Advantages

This patch cable utilizes the Cat.6 standard to ensure dependable performance for Gigabit Ethernet applications. The S/FTP shielding effectively reduces external electromagnetic interference, maintaining signal integrity even in dense cabling environments. Molded RJ-45 connectors enhance durability and simplify the connection process, while the 1:1 pin assignment supports standard network configurations. The gray outer sheath facilitates straightforward organization and identification within complex cable bundles.

Suitable for

• Connecting network devices in office environments
• Linking equipment within server cabinets and data centers
• Structured network cabling according to Cat.6 standards
• Applications compliant with IEEE 802.3 and IEEE 802.5 specifications

When it may not be suitable

This cable is not designed for outdoor installation or harsh industrial environments requiring high moisture or dust protection, as it holds an IP20 rating. Additionally, the 2-meter length may be insufficient for long-distance runs between distant rooms or floors.

Key specifications

• Cable standard: Cat.6
• Shielding type: S/FTP (S-STP)
• Cable length: 2 m
• Connector type: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Pin assignment: 1:1
• Protection rating: IP20
• Color: Gray
• Supported standards: IEEE 802.3, IEEE 802.5

How to use

To use the patch cable, insert one RJ-45 connector into a network port on a switch, patch panel, or network wall outlet until the locking mechanism clicks securely into place. Connect the opposing end to the network port of a computer, printer, or other Ethernet-compatible device. Ensure the cable is routed without sharp bends or excessive tension to maintain optimal signal transmission and mechanical longevity.

What to consider before purchase

• Verify that the 2-meter length is adequate for the distance between your networked devices
• Confirm that your network hardware supports Cat.6 and RJ-45 connections
• Check that the environment complies with the IP20 indoor protection rating

Usage recommendations: Route the patch cable carefully away from power lines and heavy electrical equipment to minimize potential electromagnetic interference. Avoid pinching or tightly coiling the cable during installation to preserve its internal shielding and structural integrity.
