Managed Gigabit Ethernet Switch Cudy GS1024E — 24× RJ‑45 10/100/1000, 48 Gbit/s, 8192 MAC, rack-mount, black
The Managed Gigabit Ethernet Switch Cudy GS1024E is a 24‑port rack‑mount switch with Gigabit RJ‑45 ports supporting 10/100/1000 Mbps. It provides a switching capacity of 48 Gbit/s and an 8192‑entry MAC address table for aggregation and distribution in small to medium wired networks. The switch implements a range of IEEE standards including 802.1D/Q/ab/p/w and IEEE 802.3 family protocols, and supports energy‑efficient Ethernet (802.3az). Housed in a black chassis designed for 19" rack installation, the device combines managed features such as VLAN and QoS segmentation with basic layer‑2 switching performance.
The GS1024E offers managed switching capabilities that enable traffic segmentation and priority control while maintaining full Gigabit throughput on 24 copper ports. Its 48 Gbit/s switching capacity and an 8192‑entry MAC table support stable connectivity for aggregated ports and multiple devices. Compliance with common IEEE standards, including energy‑efficient Ethernet, helps reduce power consumption in suitable deployments. The rack‑mount form factor and black finish make it suitable for equipment racks in server rooms and wiring cabinets.
Install the switch into a standard 19" equipment rack using the supplied mounting brackets and secure the unit. Connect uplink and access devices to the RJ‑45 ports with appropriate Cat5e/Cat6 cables. Access the management interface via the switch’s web GUI or supported management protocol to configure VLANs, QoS priorities and other layer‑2 settings. Ensure the unit is powered with the included AC adapter and mounted in a ventilated location to maintain operating temperatures.
For optimal performance, use Cat5e or Cat6 cables for Gigabit links, enable energy‑efficient Ethernet where compatible devices are used, and segment traffic with VLANs and QoS to prioritise latency‑sensitive services such as VoIP and video streaming.
