The Zyxel XS1930-12F is a managed L2/L3 Multi-Gigabit switch designed for businesses that need higher bandwidth and flexible aggregation. With ten SFP+ ports and two Multi-Gigabit copper ports, the XS1930-12F provides high-bandwidth backbone connectivity for multiple access switches and supports link speeds of 100M/1G/2.5G/5G/10G on its Multi-Gigabit ports. The switch has a switching capacity of 240 Gbit/s and a MAC address table of 16,000 entries, suitable for rack-mounted deployments in enterprise and SMB environments.
The XS1930-12F offers fiber-based high-bandwidth aggregation through ten SFP+ ports while retaining Multi-Gigabit copper connectivity on two ports. Its support for IEEE networking standards ensures compatibility with existing infrastructure, and a switching capacity of 240 Gbit/s delivers ample throughput for modern networks. The switch operates quietly with an adaptive fan design and supports NebulaFlex for flexible management choices—standalone or cloud-managed—without extra licensing.
Install the XS1930-12F in a standard 19-inch rack and connect SFP+ modules and fiber cables to your aggregation links or servers. Use the two Multi-Gigabit copper ports for high-speed connections to access switches or Multi-Gigabit devices such as WiFi 6 APs. Configure VLANs, QoS, link aggregation and static IPv4/IPv6 routes through the web GUI or by switching to Nebula cloud management. Monitor port speeds with the built-in 5-color LEDs to verify link performance and cable limitations.
For optimal performance, use quality SFP+ modules and compliant fiber cabling for uplinks and verify cable quality for copper Multi-Gigabit links; longer or lower-grade copper cables may limit achievable speeds. Consider Nebula cloud management for centralized monitoring, or operate the switch in standalone mode if local management is preferred.
