Scotch® Vinyl Color Coding Electrical Tape 35 is a premium-grade PVC electrical tape, 7 mil (0.18 mm) thick and supplied in blue. It is flame retardant, rated for 600 V and performs across a temperature range of 14 to 221 °F (-10 to 105 °C). The tape is designed for insulating wires and identifying phases, motor leads and piping systems, and for marking safety areas.

Advantages

The tape combines an aggressive, pressure-sensitive rubber resin adhesive with an elastic PVC backing to provide reliable electrical and mechanical protection. It resists UV rays, abrasion, moisture, alkalis, acids and solvents, stretches easily for conformable application, and adheres well to synthetic cable insulations, jackets and splicing compounds.
