3M 924 adhesive transfer tape is an acrylic, reverse-wound, pressure-sensitive transfer film on a densified kraft paper liner, designed for use with Scotch® ATG adhesive applicators. The tape provides high adhesion with good solvent resistance and excellent UV resistance for reliable bonding and sealing across a variety of substrates. Supplied in a 55 m length and 6 mm width, it delivers the adhesive in a controlled manner through the ATG system, where the liner rewinds into the applicator and the adhesive bonds on contact.

How to use

Install the 3M 924 tape roll into a compatible Scotch® ATG adhesive applicator according to the applicator instructions. Apply the tape by running the applicator over the target surface so that adhesive is transferred and bonds on contact. The liner will rewind into the applicator as you work. For best results, ensure surfaces are clean, dry and free of dust, oil or loose particles before bonding.

Usage recommendations

Store rolls in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight. For permanent bonds, press bonded parts firmly together and allow time for the adhesive to develop full strength. Not recommended for certain low-surface-energy plastics unless tested for compatibility.
