Glue, Army Painter Battlefields Basing Glue for Model Bases and Terrain
Army Painter Battlefields Basing Glue is an adhesive designed for attaching basing materials and small scenic elements to miniature bases and model terrain. Supplied in a brush-top bottle for controlled application, this glue is formulated to bond flock, static grass, sand and small textures to plastic, metal and resin bases, enabling hobbyists to build durable, detailed basing effects.
The brush-top applicator allows precise placement of glue on small areas without excess mess. The formula is optimized to provide a reliable hold for lightweight basing materials while remaining workable long enough to adjust placement of flock and static grass. It dries clear to preserve painted finishes and textured surfaces on bases and terrain pieces.
Prepare the base by ensuring surfaces are clean, dry and free of loose debris. Apply a thin, even layer of basing glue to the area using the brush-top applicator. While the glue is still tacky, apply flock, sand or static grass and press gently to ensure contact. Allow sufficient drying time before handling or applying additional layers or varnish. For larger areas, work in sections to maintain control over placement and adhesion.
For best results, test adhesion on a scrap piece of the same material before applying to finished models. Use sparing amounts for fine details to avoid overflow; apply a sealing coat or matte varnish after full cure if extra durability is required.
