Hot Melt Glue Stick AWTools AW13410 11.2 mm x 200 mm, 1 kg pack
Hot melt glue sticks AWTools AW13410 with a diameter of 11.2 mm and length of 200 mm are thermoplastic adhesive rods supplied in a 1 kg pack. These glue sticks are formulated for use in standard hot glue guns and are suitable for bonding a range of materials including wood, plastics, fabrics and cardboard. The fast-setting composition provides reliable tack and gap-filling ability for assembly, repair, packaging and hobby applications where quick adhesion is required.
The formulation offers rapid melting and consistent flow for uniform bead application. Good initial tack and fast set times reduce clamping or waiting time. The sticks are compatible with many common substrates, providing adequate adhesion for both porous and some non-porous surfaces. Supplied in a 1 kg pack, they provide economical coverage for repetitive use and projects that require multiple rods.
Insert a glue stick into a compatible hot glue gun and allow the gun to reach operating temperature according to the gun manufacturer’s instructions. Squeeze the trigger to advance melted adhesive through the nozzle and apply a continuous bead to one of the surfaces to be bonded. Press the surfaces together while the adhesive is hot or tacky to achieve initial adhesion, then hold or clamp as needed until the bond sets. For uneven or gap surfaces, apply extra adhesive to fill voids; for heat-sensitive materials, use a lower-temperature gun and apply briefly to avoid damage.
Store glue sticks in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight. Clean nozzle residue from the glue gun periodically and ensure good ventilation when working in enclosed spaces. Test adhesion on a small inconspicuous area when working with unfamiliar plastics or coated materials to confirm compatibility before full application.
