The BTR NETCOM 130861-1602-E is a surface-mounted, unequipped module housing made from solid steel sheet, designed to accommodate individual modules in a modular layout. The upper part is powder-coated in RAL 9010 and can be placed on or removed without screws for quick access. The housing supports equipotential bonding via a contact pin and offers additional strain relief on the lower part using cable ties. It is suitable for direct wall mounting, desktop use and DIN-rail mounting with the mini FS DIN rail adapter. Bottom panels of the 3-port and 4-port variants are removable and provide an additional 60 mm fastening clearance. Optional accessories include a mini splice tray and, for the 2 x 12 variant, a dedicated strain relief for patch cords (130861-24ZE-E). Available port variants are 3, 4, 6, 8, 12, 16 and 2 x 12.

How to use

Mount the housing directly to a wall, place it on a desktop or fix it to a DIN rail using the mini FS adapter. Remove the upper part without tools to access the internal module slots and install the required modules. Use the contact pin for equipotential bonding where required. Route cables through the bottom openings; for the 3-port and 4-port versions, remove the bottom panel if additional clearance is needed and secure cabling using the provided 60 mm fastening points and cable ties for strain relief. Fit optional mini splice tray or the 2 x 12 strain relief accessory where applicable.

Usage recommendations

For permanent installations, ensure equipotential bonding is connected and use the cable-tie strain relief to reduce stress on connectors.
