Compact BTR E-DAT Cat.6A 8(8) RJ-45 insert module in a silver die-cast zinc housing. The module supports Cat.6A performance up to 500 MHz and is qualified for 10 GBit Ethernet (IEEE 802.3an) and Power over Ethernet (PoE). It measures 41.95 × 14.7 × 19.1 mm and is designed for installation in patch panels, keystone plates or distribution frames to provide high-speed, shielded RJ-45 connectivity for structured cabling systems.
The metal housing provides mechanical robustness and electromagnetic screening while the GHMT PVP quality rating and Class EA compliance per ISO/IEC 11801:2008 Ed.2.1 ensure reliable Cat.6A signal transmission up to 500 MHz. Termination is mounting-friendly and accepts solid AWG 24/1 to 22/1 and stranded AWG 26/7 conductors. Color coding supports TIA/EIA-568A and TIA/EIA-568B wiring schemes, and the module allows quick pair insertion into the E-DAT modul loader without special tools. Strain relief is achieved using cable ties at the module.
Prepare the cable by stripping to the appropriate length and separate the wire pairs. Follow the selected wiring scheme (TIA/EIA-568A or -568B) and insert individual conductors into the E-DAT modul loader. Use the mounting-friendly termination method provided on the module; no special tools are required for mounting. Secure the cable to the module with cable ties for strain relief and install the insert into the target patch panel, keystone plate or distribution frame.
For reliable Cat.6A and 10 GBit performance, verify correct pair sequencing and maintain recommended cable bend radii during installation. Use appropriate screening and grounding practices when integrating shielded components into your structured cabling system.
