Socket-outlet RJ-45 METZ CONNECT 130B117003-E Grey

The METZ CONNECT 130B117003-E is a grey RJ-45 termination unit for mounting on TH35 (DIN EN 60715) rails in electrical distribution panels for residential and industrial installations. It is equipped with a C6Amodul 180° RJ45 individual module with 45° cable entry from the top and a 45° downward plug direction. The unit is certified to GHMT Cat.6A re-embedded PVP and tested for component and link performance up to the specified frequencies, supporting Class EA performance up to 500 MHz.

Advantages

The RJ-45 socket supports 10 GBit Ethernet (IEEE 802.3an), Remote Powering standards (PoE, PoE+, UPoE and 4PPoE) and HDBaseT. Easy installation is provided via insulation displacement connectors (IDC) for solid conductors AWG 26/1 to 22/1 and stranded conductors AWG 26/7 to 22/7. Conductor assignment for T568A and T568B is printed directly on the stuffer cap, migration to 25G systems is possible without special tools, and the 1HP width permits up to 12 modules in a standard distribution panel. An integrated equipotential plate provides equipotential bonding when mounted as a protection class I device, and a removable equipotential spring allows protection class II when installed in panels with protective insulation. A cover and integrated dust protection protect the module during use.

How to use

Mount the termination unit onto a TH35 rail in the electrical distribution panel. Route the network cable with a 45° entry from the top and terminate conductors into the insulation displacement connectors according to the printed T568A or T568B assignment on the stuffer cap. Insert the RJ-45 plug downward at 45°. If equipotential bonding is required for protection class I, connect the integrated equipotential plate to the building bonding system via the bonding terminal. For installations in distributor panels with protective insulation, remove the equipotential bonding spring to achieve protection class II.
