How to use

Mount the patch panel into a standard 19" rack or cabinet using appropriate screws and cage nuts. Route horizontal Cat5e cables to the rear of the panel and terminate each conductor pair on the color-coded LSA/Krone IDC strips following EIA/TIA 568 A or B wiring scheme. Ensure the cable shield is connected to the panel ground via the central ground connection and use the provided cable ties to secure cable bundles. Once terminated, plug standard shielded RJ45 patch cords into the front ports to connect network devices or switches.

Usage recommendations

To preserve performance, use shielded patch cords and maintain proper grounding for the shielded panel. Follow cable bend-radius guidelines and avoid running signal cables parallel to power lines.
