Glue Sticks Dymo VG448 — colorless, 7.2 mm × 200 mm, 1 kg pack
Dymo VG448 glue sticks are transparent hot-melt adhesive rods with a diameter of 7.2 mm and a length of 200 mm, supplied as a 1 kg pack. Made for use with compatible hot glue guns, these colorless sticks form clear, low-profile bonds that set quickly. They are formulated for general-purpose bonding and are intended for applications such as paper, cardboard, fabric and lightweight craft materials where discrete, nearly invisible joints are required.
The colorless formulation reduces visibility of the bond line and is suitable when an unobtrusive finish is needed. The 7.2 mm diameter provides consistent feeding in standard hobby and light-duty industrial glue guns designed for that size. With a fast-setting hot-melt profile, these sticks enable quick assembly and repair without prolonged clamping. Supplied in a 1 kg pack, they offer multiple sticks for repetitive tasks and reduce the need for frequent restocking.
Insert a glue stick into a compatible hot glue gun designed for 7.2 mm diameter sticks and allow the gun to heat to the manufacturer-recommended temperature. Apply the molten adhesive to one of the surfaces in a thin bead, then press the parts together within the working time. Hold briefly until the bond sets. For best results, ensure surfaces are clean, dry and free from dust or oil before application. Allow the joint to fully cool before subjecting it to stress.
Use a glue gun with temperature control if bonding heat-sensitive materials; test on a scrap piece first. Store unopened sticks in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight. For heavier loads or outdoor exposure, consider mechanical fasteners or a structural adhesive designed for the specific materials.
