The Eaton Z-SB230/SS is a high-quality 16A impulse relay engineered for reliable switching in 230V AC control circuits. The Eaton Z-SB230/SS is installed by snapping it onto a standard 35mm DIN-rail within a distribution board. Connect the control circuit to the coil terminals and the load circuit to the 2NO contact terminals. When a momentary electrical pulse is applied to the control input, the relay switches the contacts to the closed position. A subsequent pulse will return the contacts to the open position, allowing for simple remote control of lighting or other loads using momentary push-buttons.
For optimal performance and safety, ensure that all electrical connections are tightened to the manufacturer's specified torque settings. It is recommended to install the relay in a well-ventilated distribution board to maintain ambient operating temperatures.
