Keystone RJ45 CAT6 UTP 8P8C toolless jack, electro base SS-1xRJ45-PR
Electro base SS-1xRJ45-PR is a keystone CAT6 UTP 8P8C toolless RJ45 jack made for quick and reliable termination of Ethernet cables. The compact snap-in format fits standard keystone openings in wall plates, patch panels and surface-mount boxes, allowing fast installation without punch-down tools. Designed to support CAT6 UTP connections, the jack maintains signal integrity for Gigabit Ethernet and other common network protocols within structured cabling systems.
The toolless design enables rapid cable termination by inserting conductors directly into the jack, saving installation time and reducing the need for specialized tools. Its keystone form factor ensures compatibility with a wide range of plates and modules, while gold-plated contact surfaces provide low contact resistance and corrosion resistance. The compact housing secures cables and maintains proper wire alignment for consistent data transmission performance.
Strip the outer jacket of the CAT6 UTP cable to expose the four twisted pairs, keeping pair twists intact as much as possible. Follow the color code indicated on the jack, insert each conductor into the corresponding slot until it seats fully, then snap the jacket retention element or cap into place to secure the cable. Push the assembled keystone jack into a compatible wall plate or patch panel opening until it clicks. Test the connection with a network tester to verify continuity and pair wiring.
For optimal performance, use within structured cabling installations that follow CAT6 guidelines: maintain proper bend radius, avoid excessive untwisting of pairs during termination, and keep cable runs within recommended length limits. Verify wiring scheme (T568A or T568B) before termination and use a cable tester after installation to confirm signal integrity.
