Assembly mortar FISCHER FIS VL 300 T 300 ml cartridge
Assembly mortar FISCHER FIS VL 300 T 300 ml cartridge
FISCHER FIS VL 300 T 300 ml cartridge is a ready-to-use assembly mortar in a standard caulking-gun format for anchoring threaded rods and rebar in concrete and masonry. The product is a two-component resin system supplied pre-dosed in a 300 ml cartridge, allowing controlled dispensing and reliable filling of drilled holes for bonded anchors. It is designed to create load-bearing chemical anchors for structural and installation tasks where mechanical expansion anchors are not suitable or where substrate conditions require adhesive fixing.
The cartridge format provides precise application with a standard pistol, minimises material waste and ensures consistent component mixing. The resin system cures to form a durable bond between reinforcement or threaded elements and the base material, offering resistance to dynamic and static loads. Use of a pre-dosed cartridge reduces on-site preparation time and helps maintain consistent performance across installations. The formulation is suitable for use in concrete and common masonry substrates under typical construction conditions.
Drill the hole to the specified diameter and clean thoroughly of dust and debris using a brush and blower or compressed air. Insert the cartridge into a suitable caulking gun and attach the static mixer nozzle; discard the initial extrusion until uniform colour is achieved. Inject the mortar into the hole from the back outwards to avoid air pockets, filling to the recommended level. Insert the threaded rod or rebar with a slow twisting motion to ensure even distribution of the mortar around the element. Allow the mortar to cure according to ambient temperature and substrate conditions before applying service loads.
For best results, follow manufacturer instructions for hole diameter, embedment depth and curing times; use the appropriate static mixer nozzle and a well-maintained caulking gun. Ensure hole cleaning is thorough and observe temperature limits for application and curing. For critical or safety-related anchors, refer to design tables and local regulations to confirm load capacities and required installation procedures.
