Fibre Optic Cable Lightwin 7m LC - ST

The Lightwin 7m LC - ST fibre optic cable uses a fibre with a total diameter including coating of 125 µm. The ferrule in the connector has a bore sized for this diameter; during assembly the fibre is inserted into the bore, glued and polished. To keep the fibre position reliable, the assemblies use ferrules with a maximum bore diameter of 125.5 µm, leaving only 0.5 µm radial clearance around the fibre.
