Stone Adhesive Dowels Megatec BNSUPER 11 mm x 200 mm, milky, pack of 5
Megatec BNSUPER stone adhesive dowels, 11 mm x 200 mm in a milky finish, are designed to create concealed mechanical and adhesive connections in stone and masonry work. Supplied as a pack of five, these dowels are intended for bonding and anchoring stone elements where through-fastening is undesirable or would impair appearance. The dowel combines a cylindrical fiberglass or composite body with an adhesive-compatible outer surface to ensure a stable bond inside drilled holes in natural and engineered stone.
The dowels offer a discreet fastening solution that preserves the visual integrity of stone surfaces by avoiding visible screws or plates. Their length and diameter provide sufficient embedment depth for good load distribution and improved joint strength. The milky colour reduces visual contrast in light-coloured materials. Designed for adhesive anchoring, they allow for repairs and installations with minimal surface intervention and reduced risk of cracking compared with oversized mechanical fasteners.
Drill a hole of the recommended diameter and depth into the stone or masonry, ensuring the hole is clean and free of dust and debris. Prepare a suitable structural adhesive for stone; inject or apply adhesive into the prepared hole according to the adhesive manufacturer’s instructions. Insert the dowel fully into the adhesive-filled hole to achieve the specified embedment depth. Allow the adhesive to cure for the time recommended by the adhesive manufacturer before applying loads or proceeding with finishing work.
Use an appropriate structural adhesive compatible with the stone type and environmental conditions. Verify hole diameter and depth against the adhesive system’s technical guidance. For safety-critical or load-bearing applications, follow relevant building codes and consult a structural engineer if needed.
