POE-PAN12-GB is a 1U rack-mountable patch panel integrating 12 shielded passive Gigabit PoE injectors with an input voltage range of 24–57V. It provides a compact, centralised way to deliver power over UTP cabling to multiple devices such as IP cameras, IP phones and wireless access points by inserting the panel between an existing switch and a patch panel or cabling run.

Advantages

The panel supplies all 12 ports from dual 2.1 mm 60V power jacks, supports two selectable wiring/power modes (A and B) to match different vendor PoE pinouts, and includes over-current protection up to 650 mA (±15%) per port. Three-step LED current indicators show group current status (no signal / green / red). The device is compatible with Gigabit Ethernet (all four pairs) and fits standard 19" racks as a 1U unit.

How to use

Install the POE-PAN12-GB into a 19" rack (1U) and connect the network switch to the panel’s data ports as part of the patching chain. Choose wiring mode A or B according to the powered devices' PoE pinout (Mode A for devices using pins 1/2- and 3/6+, Mode B for devices using pins 4/5+ and 7/8-). Provide DC power to the panel using appropriate external power supplies connected to the two 2.1 mm 60V jacks; both jacks feed all 12 ports simultaneously. Verify LED indicators for current status on port groups and ensure power supply capacity matches the total power draw of connected devices.

Usage recommendations

Do not mix devices requiring different vendor-specific PoE behaviours (for example Ubiquiti 24V products and Ubiquiti 48V or MikroTik devices) on the same panel if their port behavior differs; such mixes can cause incompatibility. The power supply is not included — select a supply with appropriate voltage and sufficient wattage based on the sum of connected devices' consumption and configured voltage. Observe the maximum permitted input power values for 24V and 48V operation.
