Description

Pattex Repair Epoxy Ultra Strong 5 min is a two-component, solvent-free epoxy adhesive in an 11 ml syringe designed for fast repairs and bonding. It forms a strong, durable joint in approximately 5 minutes and is suitable for a wide range of materials including metal, wood, glass, ceramics, rubber, stone, cement, marble and most plastics. Not recommended for polypropylene, polyester, polytetrafluoroethylene (Teflon®) and polystyrene.

Advantages

The epoxy sets in about 5 minutes, provides water-resistant and oil-resistant bonds, and does not shrink or expand while curing. Once cured it can be painted, sanded, drilled or otherwise mechanically processed. The product is easy to use with the included mixing applicator and is particularly well suited for glass and small household repairs.

How to use

Cut the syringe tip, attach the mixing nozzle and extrude the required amount until a uniform color is achieved. Apply the mixed epoxy to clean, dry surfaces and join the parts within the working time. Hold or clamp parts in position until initial set (about 5 minutes). Full mechanical strength develops after complete curing; curing conditions (temperature, humidity) affect final hardness.

Usage recommendations

Use on clean, grease-free surfaces for best adhesion. Avoid application on excluded plastics (polypropylene, polyester, PTFE/Teflon®, polystyrene). Work in a well-ventilated area and follow safety instructions on the packaging. For gap filling, apply slightly in excess to ensure complete contact; after curing trim or sand as needed.
