PCE Fixed Inlet Socket with Lid 32A 400V 3P+Z+N IP44, model 525-6D
PCE Fixed Inlet Socket with Lid 32A 400V 3P+Z+N IP44, model 525-6D is a stationary industrial power inlet designed to provide a reliable connection for three-phase equipment. The unit supports 32 A current at 400 V with three phases plus protective earth and neutral. Its IP44 protection rating and hinged lid offer splash and light dust protection suitable for indoor environments and sheltered outdoor locations such as distribution panels, temporary power points on construction sites, and machinery inputs.
The PCE 525-6D inlet combines a standard three-phase wiring layout with protective earth and neutral for flexible use with common industrial appliances. The hinged lid improves safety by keeping contacts shielded when not in use and contributes to IP44 splash protection. The fixed receiver design enables a secure, permanent installation into panels or enclosures while maintaining easy access for plugging and unplugging cords.
This inlet is not intended for permanent outdoor exposure without shelter or for environments requiring higher ingress protection than IP44. It is also unsuitable where a different current rating, voltage, or pin configuration is required, or when a portable connector is preferred instead of a fixed inlet.
Install the fixed inlet into a compatible panel cut-out or enclosure following electrical regulations and manufacturer's mounting instructions. Connect phase, neutral and earth conductors to the corresponding terminals using the correct conductor sizes for 32 A operation. Ensure the lid closes over the inlet when the connector is not in use to maintain IP44 protection. Only qualified personnel should perform wiring and testing; after installation verify tightness of terminals and proper operation with a phase rotation and continuity check before applying load.
Use the PCE 525-6D inlet in sheltered or indoor installations and always secure wiring by a qualified electrician. Keep the hinged lid closed when not in use and periodically inspect contacts and seals for wear or damage to maintain safe operation.
