Network media converter PLANET IGTP-2205AT, 2-port compact, metal housing, SFP, IP30, 30×70×104 mm
PLANET IGTP-2205AT is a compact, industrial-grade Gigabit PoE+ media converter in an IP30-rated metal housing. It provides two 100/1000BASE-X SFP fiber ports and two 10/100/1000BASE-T RJ45 ports with IEEE 802.3at PoE+ injector function. Designed for harsh environments, the unit operates from -40 to 75 °C and supports a 48–54 V DC dual power input with automatic failover to maintain continuous long-range data and power transmission for remote powered devices.
The IGTP-2205AT combines fiber-optic link capability with PoE+ power delivery to extend network reach well beyond the 100 m copper limit, supporting SFP transceivers for distances up to 120 km (or longer with daisy-chain topology). It delivers up to 30 W per PoE port and a total 60 W power budget, includes industrial-grade protections such as Ethernet ESD and surge immunity, and offers flexible mounting options (DIN-rail or wall) for space-limited installations.
Install the IGTP-2205AT on a DIN rail or mount it on a wall enclosure in the intended location. Connect the SFP transceivers and fiber cables to the SFP slots as required, and plug Ethernet cables to the RJ45 PoE ports to power IEEE 802.3af/at PDs. Provide DC power to the removable terminal block using a 48–54 V DC source; if two power inputs are available, connect both for redundancy. The device is plug-and-play and requires no software configuration for standard PoE and link operation.
Use factory-tested SFP modules that match desired wavelength and distance, ensure correct 48–54 V DC polarity when wiring the terminal block, and keep the unit in a ventilated enclosure to maintain the specified operating temperature range for reliable long-term performance.
