It is a compact scalar horn with identical main-beam widths in horizontal and vertical planes, N-type female connector, and a stable gain of 11.5 dBi. Designed for dense wireless deployments, the antenna offers frequency-independent radiation, low noise pickup and a durable aluminium construction in a small footprint (dimensions: 312×162×152 mm, weight: 1.8 kg).
The HG3-CC-S70 provides a circular main beam with no side lobes, which reduces noise and improves spectrum efficiency compared to traditional sector antennas. Its wideband performance keeps gain consistent across the entire 5.18–6.4 GHz band. The compact size reduces tower space requirements, and robust materials (die-cast and extruded aluminium, UV-resistant plastics, stainless steel hardware) ensure long-term weather resistance. Mount the HG3-CC-S70 on a suitable tower or pole using compatible mounting hardware and orient the antenna so its main beam covers the intended sector. Connect the radio via a low-loss coaxial cable to the N-type female connector. Ensure the associated radio is configured for the 5.18–6.4 GHz band and appropriate transmit power and channel plan. Verify alignment by measuring received signal and adjusting azimuth/elevation to optimize coverage while avoiding overlap with adjacent sectors.
