Horn antenna RF Elements HG3-CC-S80
The RF Elements HG3-CC-S80 is a compact Symmetrical Horn Carrier Class Gen2 sector antenna designed for 5.18–6.4 GHz wireless links. It features a circular main beam with identical azimuth and elevation widths, stable gain across the wideband operation and N-type female connectors. The antenna is built from corrosion-resistant aluminium and high-quality polymers, offering a small physical footprint while supporting precise sector angles for scalable deployments.
The HG3-CC-S80 delivers a unique beam shape without side lobes, which reduces received and transmitted noise and improves spectrum efficiency. Its radiation pattern is frequency independent across the 5180–6400 MHz range and provides stable gain (max 10.4 dBi) across the band. The compact size (approximately 312 × 160 × 152 mm) and durable materials allow flexible mounting and lower tower space requirements. N-type female connectors ensure compatibility with a wide range of connectorized radios.
Mount the HG3-CC-S80 on a suitable mast or tower using compatible mounting hardware, orienting the antenna so the symmetrical 80° main beam covers the intended sector. Connect RF cables to the N-type female connector and attach a matching 50 Ω radio or radio adapter. Ensure proper grounding and follow the radio vendor’s alignment and safety procedures. Because the antenna has minimal side lobes, alignment focuses on the main beam direction to achieve optimal link performance.
Choose the HG3-CC-S80 when you need stable wideband performance in the 5.18–6.4 GHz range with excellent isolation for dense sector deployments. For best results, select antenna beamwidths according to sector planning (this model provides an 80° sector) and use quality low-loss coax and connectors to minimize feedline losses.
