Contact Adhesive Spray Soudal 500 ml for Foils and Membranes
Contact Adhesive Spray Soudal 500 ml for Foils and Membranes
Soudal Contact Adhesive Spray 500 ml for Foils and Membranes is a fast-tack aerosol adhesive formulated for temporary or permanent bonding of flexible sheet materials. The spray delivers an even, thin film suitable for bonding roofing membranes, waterproofing foils, vapor barriers and other flexible substrates that require immediate adhesion during installation. The product is presented in a 500 ml pressurised can for handheld application and rapid coverage of large areas.
The spray adhesive provides rapid initial tack and a uniform adhesive coat, reducing waiting time during installation. Its aerosol format ensures consistent application over irregular or large surfaces and improves productivity on site. The adhesive is designed to bond flexible materials reliably and to allow repositioning within the short open time typical for contact adhesives, aiding accurate alignment of foils and membranes.
Ensure both surfaces are clean, dry and free from dust, oil or loose particles before application. Shake the can well and spray an even coat onto both surfaces from the recommended distance, creating a thin, continuous film. Allow the adhesive to become tacky according to the product's open time, then press the materials together firmly. For best results, align and adjust while still within the repositioning window, then apply uniform pressure to ensure full contact and adhesion. Follow any safety instructions on the can regarding ventilation and skin protection.
Use in well-ventilated areas and avoid open flames or sparks while spraying. Test adhesion on a small area if substrate compatibility is uncertain. Store the can upright in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and temperatures above recommended limits. Consult technical datasheets for specific substrate preparation and drying times when working with sensitive materials.
