StarTech.com 100m SC to SC OS2 Single Mode Fiber Optic Cable 9/125µm is a 100-metre OS2 simplex single mode patch cable with SC connectors at both ends. Designed for 40G/100G networks, it supports CWDM across an extended 1260–1625 nm wavelength range and is backward compatible with OS1 deployments. The cable uses a 9/125µm core and is rated bend-insensitive for reduced signal loss in tight routing.

Advantages

Precision ceramic ferrules ensure accurate fiber alignment and an insertion loss below 0.3 dB. UPC-polished SC endfaces improve return loss compared with older PC polishing. The fiber meets or exceeds ITU-T G.652.D / G.657.A1 and IEC60703-2-50 type B1.3/B6.a1 performance levels. The jacket is Low-Smoke Zero-Halogen (LSZH) to limit smoke and toxic fume emission in confined or poorly ventilated spaces.
