Adhesive glue Technicoll R-317 neoprene assembly adhesive 100 ml
Technicoll R-317 neoprene assembly adhesive in a 100 ml format is a solvent-based contact adhesive formulated for fast tack and durable bonds. Intended for construction, repair and DIY applications, this adhesive bonds materials such as rubber, leather, wooden veneers, textiles and certain plastics. The compact 100 ml container is convenient for small-scale jobs, touch-ups and on-site adjustments where a quick, reliable bond is needed.
This neoprene-based adhesive provides rapid initial tack and strong shear resistance after curing, enabling fast assembly and reduced clamp time. It is suitable for a variety of flexible and semi-rigid materials, offers good adhesion to porous and non-porous surfaces when applied correctly, and is supplied in a small, easy-to-handle tube that minimizes waste for minor repairs. The formulation allows for repositioning during the brief open time typical of contact adhesives before the final bond sets.
Ensure both surfaces are clean, dry and free of oil, dust or loose particles. Apply an even, thin layer of adhesive to both surfaces and allow solvent to flash off until a tacky film forms. Join the surfaces with firm pressure; for large or structural joints, apply uniform pressure or use clamps until the bond develops full strength. Use in a well-ventilated area and follow any safety guidance on the product label regarding flammability and solvent vapours.
For best results, test adhesion on a small area or sample of the substrate before full application. Avoid use on plastics known to be solvent-sensitive; where uncertainty exists, perform a compatibility test. Store the product upright in a cool, dry place and keep the cap tightly closed when not in use to prevent solvent loss.
