Adhesive for foam and polystyrene Technicqll 70 ml R-938
Technicqll adhesive R-938 is a contact glue supplied in a 70 ml tube formulated specifically for bonding foam and polystyrene. Designed for precise application, this solvent-based adhesive provides strong initial tack and fast setting on many porous and closed-cell foam substrates used in model making, insulation and repair tasks. The compact tube format allows controlled dispensing and reduced waste when working on small or detailed assemblies indoors.
The adhesive offers rapid grab and reliable adhesion on compatible foam and polystyrene surfaces without excessive soaking or deformation when applied correctly. Its tube packaging enables accurate application in narrow joints and on small parts. The formula is suitable for both porous foams and many closed-cell polystyrene materials, delivering a stable bond for assembly, repair and insulation tasks conducted in interior environments.
Ensure both surfaces are clean, dry and free of dust, grease or loose particles. Apply an even, thin layer of adhesive to one or both mating surfaces as appropriate for the material and joint type. Allow the adhesive to become tacky per the product’s working time, then press the parts together with uniform pressure to achieve full contact. For small parts or narrow joints, use the tube’s nozzle for accurate placement. Avoid excessive application that could soften or deform thin foam. Work in a well-ventilated indoor area and allow the bonded assembly to cure before subjecting it to load or finishing operations.
Test adhesion on a sample piece of the specific foam or polystyrene you intend to bond to confirm compatibility and to determine the optimal open time and amount of adhesive. For best results, store the tube upright in a cool, dry place and follow safety guidance for solvent-based adhesives, including adequate ventilation and avoidance of skin contact.
