Wood Glue Tytan PB-350 D4 Polyurethane 800g — Waterproof Structural Wood Adhesive
Tytan PB-350 D4 Polyurethane 800g is a moisture-curing structural wood adhesive formulated for demanding joinery and timber construction tasks. Supplied in an 800 g cartridge, this polyurethane glue creates strong, durable bonds that resist moisture and temperature variations. It is intended for use where a D4-class adhesive is required, offering gap-filling properties, high initial tack and long-term performance for both interior and exterior wood connections.
The adhesive provides high initial tack and develops high bond strength after curing, ensuring reliable structural joints. Its moisture-curing polyurethane chemistry enables excellent resistance to water and variable humidity, making it suitable for damp environments. The formulation also fills small gaps between uneven surfaces and adheres to a wide range of wooden substrates used in furniture, staircases and exterior carpentry.
This polyurethane glue cures by reacting with moisture and may not perform as intended on completely dry substrates without ambient or substrate moisture; pre-wetting or ensuring normal workshop humidity is recommended. It is not formulated for use on non-porous substrates such as glass or metal where specialized adhesives would be required.
Prepare bonding surfaces by removing dust, grease and loose particles. Apply adhesive evenly from the cartridge to one or both mating surfaces, maintaining contact pressure after assembly to ensure good wetting and penetration. For wide gaps, apply sufficient adhesive to fill the space; clamp or secure parts until the adhesive cures. Allow curing time according to ambient humidity and temperature—higher humidity speeds curing. After curing, excess adhesive can be removed mechanically; solvent removal is not effective once cured.
Use on slightly moistened wood or in environments with normal relative humidity to ensure reliable cure. Apply even pressure and allow sufficient curing time before subjecting joints to load or weather exposure. When working outdoors, protect fresh joints from direct rain during initial cure.
