Wago 281-532 4-Level Terminal Block for Electric Motors
Wago 281-532 4-Level Terminal Block for Electric Motors
The Wago 281-532 is a professional 4-level terminal block engineered for reliable electrical connections in motor control applications and industrial installations. This high-density component features a 6 mm width, allowing for efficient space utilization within control cabinets. It utilizes the industry-leading CAGE CLAMP connection technology, ensuring secure and vibration-resistant wire termination for various conductor types.
This terminal block offers exceptional reliability for complex wiring tasks by providing four levels of connectivity in a single, compact housing. The CAGE CLAMP technology simplifies the installation process, eliminating the need for specialized tools while maintaining a consistent, high-quality contact force. Its robust design ensures long-term performance in demanding industrial environments, making it a dependable choice for professional electrical engineering projects requiring high connection density.
This terminal block is not intended for use with conductors outside the specified cross-section range of 0.08 mm² to 4 mm². It is also not suitable for applications requiring direct mounting on surfaces other than standard DIN rails or environments where the required strip length of 8 to 9 mm cannot be maintained.
To use the Wago 281-532, mount the terminal block onto a standard DIN rail within your control cabinet. Prepare your conductors by stripping the insulation to a length of 8 to 9 mm. Open the CAGE CLAMP mechanism using a suitable operating tool, insert the conductor fully into the terminal, and release the clamp to secure the connection. Ensure that each of the four levels is wired according to your circuit diagram to maintain proper electrical distribution.
Always ensure that the power supply is disconnected before performing any wiring operations. Regularly inspect connections in high-vibration environments to maintain optimal contact integrity over the lifespan of the installation.
