Epoxy Adhesive for Metal Weicon 20-A43, 5-minute cure, two-component
Epoxy Adhesive for Metal Weicon 20-A43 is a two-component epoxy formulated specifically for bonding and repairing metal. The system cures in approximately five minutes, enabling quick handling and fast progression of repair or assembly tasks. It provides rigid, high-strength joints with good adhesion to steel, cast iron and a variety of metallic substrates, and is suitable for filling gaps, sealing surfaces and restoring damaged components in industrial and workshop environments.
The fast five-minute cure reduces downtime and allows rapid follow-up operations such as machining or painting. The two-component formulation produces a hard, dimensionally stable bond that resists shear and compressive loads on metallic parts. The adhesive fills irregularities and small voids, improving contact area and distributing stress across the joint. It is compatible with common metal surfaces used in maintenance, fabrication and repairs.
Prepare mating surfaces by cleaning off oil, grease, rust and loose material; roughen smooth metal surfaces to improve mechanical adhesion. Mix the two components thoroughly in the manufacturer-recommended ratio until a uniform colour is achieved. Apply the mixed adhesive to one or both surfaces and join parts within the working time. Clamp or fixture the assembly if necessary until the adhesive reaches sufficient handling strength, then allow full cure before subjecting the joint to full load or final machining.
Use in well-ventilated areas and follow standard safety precautions for epoxy systems, including protective gloves and eye protection. For best results, work at moderate temperatures and avoid contamination of mixed material. When bonding critical structural parts, test a sample joint to confirm fit and performance before final application.
